BEHAVIOURAL MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME

Objective of scheme

Welcome to the most exciting sports experience you've ever encountered!

Boxing and Martial Arts is without doubt the most rewarding and challenging sports available to youth today.

The combination of athleticism, physical and mental conditioning, sportsmanship, and self worth that they will develop from these sports are unequalled in any other sport. Boxing and Martial Arts will teach people to rely on themselves, to value the input of others, and most importantly to respect both their own skills and those of others. They will develop a level of self confidence that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives.

Improving group cohesion and social interactions through group and partner based exercises these activities act as a form of constructive counselling and help develop character based qualities and more importantly channel aggressive tendancies into a controlled and reward based environment therefore creating a manageable teaching atmosphere through improved attention of students.

Utilising these key principles we endeavour through the Olympic sport of Amateur boxing and governing bodies attached to us to promote fitness, discipline, friendship, fair play, respect and confidence. Our main objective through our behavioural management scheme is to become an integral part of the community by increasing quality of life and providing a constructive alternative to anti-social behaviour such as drugs & alcohol abuse targeting the local youth and also people living in disadvantaged areas by providing positive role models and social inclusion from interaction with our coaching staff and other young participants.

All coaches and trainers are all required to attend certification courses every three years to maintain the highest degree of competency at every level. They are also qualified in first aid and CPR and of course are all CRB cleared. We operate child safety policies and have our own child welfare officer.

Our facilities here at our health and performance training center The Locker Room which is situated at Southend central railway station boasts an impressive 3000 sq ft of state of the art cardiovascular and reistance areas and an underground combat arena. Both male and female changing and shower facilities are on site and all necessary insurance H&S risk assessments in place for your perusal.

We are making a huge difference in helping to change people's lives everday!
